When I take the rpm's up to about 4000, I can hear what sounds like a plastic on plastic vibration.

It is not an irregular clickity sound like valve train noise or the dreaded tick as heard on the Holeshot site, but a low volume (can't hear it with earplugs in) vibration sound that is very even, almost like a smooth buzz.

I've checked the fairing fasteners and looked for a loose piece of plastic, but to no avail.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Ron

Hmmm. Any farkles that may be contributing? Blaster horns or something like that? Bags hooked on correctly? Windscreen with a homemade tuning block touching the front fairing?

Sounds just like my problem! Thanks, Brazos Parker.

I developed a pretty irritating buzz around 4000rpm also. I don't wear a helmot so I had it zeroed in pretty close. took off panels C and D and grabbed a roll of self stick foam (goes between your pickup truck rail and your camper top) and stuck a piece everywhere and anywhere the plastic got close to anything, Problem solved. Hope this helps MIKE

Thanks, Mike.

I'll try you method with some double sided tape I have.

Ron--- Hope your not using 3M automotive double sided tape, you may never get those panels back off! MIKE

I think the tape I have is for securing carpet to the floor. It doesn't stick particularly well. But thanks for the warning!
