Now that the Speed Channel website has "improved" its schedule, it doesn't work worth a damn. Thanks also to their schedule, I missed recording the MotoGP (got the 250). Apart from the re-broadcast I missed tonight (Sunday) after incorrectly recording the 250, can anyone figure out and verify (probably not through the Speed Channel site) when Qatar will be re-broadcast?

Yes, it was broadcasted but under "See it" or something like this 9 central time. Stumbled on it by accident. *******s. I think the re-broadcast might take place on Wed.

It was broadcast at 10:00PM last night. I only found out I got the 250 at 9:50 PM while surfing the SV650 board. They caught it there and I was able to set up my DVR to record the GP.

Yeah, I tell ya what, Speed TV really sucks *** sometimes. Let's start w/ the AMA road races from Daytona on Saturday. For well over a week I was planning my day around their online schedule and then it changed at the last second (I noticed the change Friday afternoon). Wow, glad I caught that one. Then I decided to double check their schedule for MotoGP when I woke up Sunday morning. Turns out that my cable provider had a listing at 3pm PDT for the 250cc race and MotoGP at 7pm PDT. This differed greatly from the Speed TV website which indicated that there would be NO 250's broadcast and that the MotoGP race would be aired at 3pm. So I scurried over to my local watering hole to have them check the schedule on Direct TV. Sure enough, there too it seemed that the 250's would run at 3pm while the MotoGP wouldn't be seen until 7pm. All the while, Speed's web site stood fast with the original (and incorrect) info.

You'd think that Progressive and those irritating little gremlin phucks (who seem to be the only sponsors of MotoGP) would want Speed TV to pull their collective heads out of their ***** so that those of us who enjoy watching road racing could actually do so without the need for a subscription to the Psychic Friends Network.

JB, sorry you missed out.

Last year the Speed Channel rebroadcast most MotoGP, and AMA Superbike races on Tuesdays. And I think it was sometime between 10am and 4pm.

I have Comcast. I did an event search and it said the next time it would be broadcast is 3/20 at 4 or 5 am.

Speed is just laughable sometimes with their unprofessional appreoach to motorcycle racing, but its far from funny.

I was pissed off to no end to learn (at 2:45pm yesterday) that the 3pm Qatar race was the 250 class, not the big bikes. Thought I'd watch it anyway, and I'm glad did, because it was during this show that they announced they would re-broadcast the 800cc event at 7pm PDT.

Very interesting, this night racing under the lights at Qatar. 4 Yamaha's in the Top 10 was pretty cool. Looks like the rookies Dovizioso, Lorenzo and de Angelis are going to make things interesting for the veterans....

Well, DAMN! I thought I was the only one, and that I must have misread the channel listing. I kept thinking the 800s woould be on after the 250s, but then my recording ended. WTF?!?

Oh well, at least it's easy to find out about all the details, even the locations of pimples on drivers butts fro NASCRAP -- AND unlike their MotoGP broadcasts, Speed actually broadcasts NASCRAP in HD!! WoooHooo!!!!

I just got my results from feejer222 in his "Spoiler" post. Thank you feejer -- you seriously outperformed Speed Channel.

That was a hell of a pass from 3d to first in the last couple laps to win the 250s, though.

I see it on Thursday Mar 20, 3AM Eastern. That's from the site that sends me schedules for the PVR software I run on my PC with a tuner card.

If you have a DVR either with your cable co (ie Comcast) or TiVO it's easy to set them up to record them all.

For Comcast DVR, use Set Recording then find Motorcycle Racing. You can scroll through all the upcoming events on all channels for WSBK, AMA, MotoGP etc. It will also give you the rebroadcast times. Or just set it to catch everything and then you can delete what you don't want.

TiVo is really even easier. You can just put in a keyword for recording, say FIM or MotoGP or whatever, and it will record everything on any channel that matches.

I watched it last night - way cool. Direct TV Tivo is the ****.

Now if I could only get off the couch.

The Speed Channel schedule shows Malaysia F1 practice at the hour I posted above for the MotoGP rebroadcats, so who knows?

The racing looked better than last ...yawn...year, and it was good to see Yamaha in the running. Boy, I very much agree those new youngin's are quick too ! Glad I'm still here to see it at all ! Sorry 'bout the silver linin' and all  !

Blessed,

Bobby

I missed the MotoGP too. Speed Channel blows. They'll probably dump some motorcycle racing down the road using the logic ratings are down.........bastages.

According to THIS page over on Sperm's Speed's website it'll be shown at 5am on the 19th. Don't hold your breath.
Y'all are right. Compared to all of the other networks in the US that carries AMA, MotoGP, WSBK, and WSS races, Speed sucks. :p
