This was a fascinating program. It explained and demonstrated over and over again how laser based speed guns were completely innacurate. They gave a speed of 36mph on a vehicle that was parked! The further away the vehicle the wider the spread of the laser, and easier it is to pick up a reading from another vehicle. If the light beam is moved on the vehicle it can change the reading dramatically. In another demonstration they had a vehicle traveling at 29mph and the gun when used on a tripod gave 36mph.

What chance do you stand???

Feejer,

You are right, the cards are stacked against us. That is why all the Georgia radar/laser sites are registered/calibrated to eleviate such inaccuracies.

So if you have this show taped, keep it when you have to go to court and in the mean time, if you don't already, get a great laser/radar detector to even the odds. Mine alerted me twice yesterday....OOOhhh what a feeling....

They showed on this program that even the calibrated guns were innacurate.
