Speed Trap

Going to my dealer for service the other day on the highway and got fed up with traffic. I passed one guy three times. Doing the limit (70) just wasn't cutting it. ZIP---90, ah thats better. Traffic thins and all is well. Crest a hill and I see a semi about 1/2 mile ahead going under an overpass. Hmmmm whats that next to the bridge? ****!!!! Speed trap! Before I could react, his headlights flash twice. Down to 75 I go. As I went pass he was smiling and gave a quick wave. I was about to wind it up again when I thought "better hold off".

SAS 3 miles down the road another LEO under a bridge. As I went by I waved. He had a huge grin and waved back. He had heard I was coming for sure. Ya gotta love'em

The day I picked up my FJR I was standing next to it when a Suffolk County PO pulled up and came over to tell me he had an 05 FJR. He was there to here how my bike ideled compared to his.(apparently he had some issues with his). He proceeded to tell me how much I'm gona love the bike and the awsome power it has. I joked to him and his partner to please give me a brake if they see me speeding and he said OH don't worry I would never give a ticket to an FJR rider...LOL If I happen to blow past a cop one day I hope it's him!
