My guess is the center stands are the same height. There was a ride height change to GenIII..... makes it easier to get on the stand. You could try a 190 rear tire as it is a slightly larger diameter.

Ditto on the 190 rear tire. I put a 190 on my previously owned 2007 and it made it easier to get it on the center stand. I also am running a 190 on the 2014 and even easier to to get on center stand. There is another benefit to using a 190 rear tire, you will have a speedo that is actually showing the correct speed.

has to be a 190/55 to be taller [we knew that tho

For those of you who mount your own tires, is there much difference (i.e. more difficulty) in spooning a 190 on by hand compared to the 180?

Along these lines with the larger 190 dia tire on the GenIII's with the fly by wire. Where is the speedo pickup sensor at? The Tranny?

If the RMSports Max taller gear is used on a GenIII in addition with a 190 tire, how will the computer compensate for a much larger change? Would it make any difference or have trouble computing?

Uses the rear wheel sensor, just like the GenII, so tranny makes no difference.
