I'm working with my dealer to get the rim on my 2016 es replaced. This is how I took delivery of minehttps://onedrive.live.com/?authkey=!AAfxqHgaHs5ZXys&id=231C188604566672!520&cid=231C188604566672
Looks like someone had a hard time installing the wheel on your bike.

Hope they didn't "nick" you for a set-up fee!

Lol.... No set up fee and the guy who assembled the bike said it must of came that way.
Of course he did! Almost certainly happened when fitting the caliper over the rotor without pushing the pads back far enough.

I think I would accept the nicked wheel in return for some significant "stuff" or big store credit. That first little "OOPS" has already happened and you don't have to worry about future minor blemishes. Think of it as "patina".

Doesn't matter whether the dealer did it or the Yamaha factory did it, you are entitled to unblemished paintwork on a new vehicle. The dealer supplied it, he has to sort it. It's his worry about who pays, not yours.
