OK, this is ********. If I can't post a joke comment about RAM BALLS on a thread about RAM BALLS on Friday without it getting shunted off into Politically Correct Purgatory, this forum has completely gone in the *******.

It was a hijack in a technical thread. Nothing to get your balls in a twist about. (heh)

10. Off topic threads and thread hijacking in any area except Jokes & Fun Stuff, Completely Off Topic, or NEPRT are inapropriate. Admins reserve the right to move or remove them as needed. Posting in the other areas must still adhere to previous guidelines.

It got moved; not removed. Everyone can still stand in awe of your awesome awesomeness. Heck, I didn't do the split and it didn't take a second to understand why it had been.

But I don't see it as NEPRT as much as Jokes, etc.

The same kind of argument was made about manatees, sheep, and all manner of off-topic drift that has pushed the forum to need a change.

Nothing stopping you from making your own thread in Jokes and Fun Stuff and post whatever you want. Thanks for moving it Bounce. I'll even offer to change the thread title for you Mike if you want something different.

Sorry Mike, I agree with the Admins on this one.
Still love yah, but the rules were established, communicated, and expectations declared.

..maybe I should offer an FjrForum 'basement' over at CandyButt.org so that FJRforum peeps don't get in twouble?

I tend to agree that's fairly tame. At least you didn't photoshop a pair of them onto Bust.

Look at the whole thread. No one said they didn't laugh about it. But it was clearly a hijack of a technical thread. It's the kind of thing that made it hard for those trying to learn something.

It lets the awesome awesomeness continue to awe while keeping the techical thread readable and clear. The awe inspiring awesome author could have done his own split and been just as awesome; maybe even a little more so.

For the most part I agree with the admins on this.

However, there are times when a thread should be derailed.... IE what kind of oil is best, tire pressures, etc.

But that's just my opinion.

What are your thoughts on the type of oil to run in your tires, and what type of tires to run it in?

Damn it Scott! Yer making it hard to behave!

Oh wait! It's already moved to the playground.. I used to use Rotella, but I found it caused sluggish handling when the temps dropped.

I'm using Prestone Dexcool now..

Okay, but what tires do you run it in, and at how much pressure?
