It may be bigger, but it sure plays well!

Don, that really looks sweet, but getting back to this.....It makes me extremely nauseous to agree with RadioHowie on anything, but I'm running Remux HexCarbon exhausts and my seriously dorky looking' set of exhaust cans are sitting on a shelf in my garage! I'm spooning on a set of the Road 4's after next month's ride to Mexico, need fresh tires before April leaving for the Austin GP in Texas! Michelin PR3's really didn't impress me, ese! JSNS!Man, that is one seriously dorky lookin' set of exhaust cans!!

This pic reminds me of the fat, overly made up red head at the party, drinking a can of beer with her pinky sticking out, thinking how 'hot' she looks. It makes me extremely nauseous to agree with RadioHowie on anything, but I'm running Remux HexCarbon exhausts and my seriously dorky looking' set of exhaust cans are sitting on a shelf in my garage! Not really, we just like Beemerdons, despite his odd taste in roundel bikes. He does give them fun names and drinks like a fish, so fits right in.U guys r much nicer than the K16 owners are towards the FJR. I say... It's all good!

Dude, you got a lot of nerve asking questions about tires in a "BMW's Are Dorky" thread!Has anyone tried a Pilot Power 2 CT? At 4,500 miles, I am wearing out my PR3 rear tire half way between the center line, and the edge on both sides. I am probably too fond of powering out of turns, but that wide band of 'harder' looks pretty good on the Pilot Power 2 CT.
Also, according to the video guy on Revzilla.com, the PR4 has harder compounds than the PR 3 on both center & edges as well as the new magic silicon bits for grab AND wear. He also says the PR4 has a narrower 'hard' center band.
I am a fairly aggressive rider, and I too think the PR2 wears better than the PR3, BUT I feel that the PR3 grips the road better. Re. the sipes on PR3: I took the advice of one of our fellows on this forum, and run my PR3s at: 44 Rear, 42 front. I have noticed no front sipe squisheling around, but I have only 870 miles on this front tire.
Easy answer. Nope, not even close. But if longevity is all u care about then u r making the right move.If I put a PR4 on the front, will it last as long as the car tire I'm putting on the rear?
Yea? When I posted it this was a thread about tires, and PR4s in particular. Which one of the overpaid admins decided this was, "SPLIT: Off-Topic Crap"?Dude, you got a lot of nerve asking questions about tires in a "BMW's Are Dorky" thread!Has anyone tried a Pilot Power 2 CT? That would be me. Your post's relevance to PR4's is tangential....at best....and mostly about other tires than the PR4. Stick to the OP please in the other thread. Thanks.Yea? If you think I'm overpaid, then I'd like to have even 1/2 of what you think that amount is....because I get paid $0.![]()
