Not sure if this will work. I converted the Power Point slides to .jpg and loaded to photobucket...let's see how it works:

Okay...not too bad. Some finishing up to be done on Page 2. If I typo'd anywhere, let me know. Yes, I'll actually add the dates of the event too :)

A tiered sponsorship....hmmm.....sounds really familiar to another event I'm supposed to be attending at home the very same weekend. I supposed I should work out this conflict with TWN and the other Unlimited Hydroplane event President. ;)

I like the focus you're doingthat shows we are premier gathering of FJRs and the demographic that they could sell to. I would suggest changing the word "contribution" to "sponsorship".

You think we can pull these sponsorship prices down? If so, great. Where would the money go?

4 tiers *might* be a bit too much granularity. I think the idea of a banquet intro/prize level, vendor level, and possibly a seminar level are pretty good ideas though.

Nice work, Andrew! Glitzy!

You committed to that show, Matt?

I'm really, really trying to work it to not be. It's a 41 year old event in our community that injects about $2 million a year in tourism from 50,000 attendees. I'm working my ass off right now on big picture stuff so that I hopefully don't have to be here for the small stuff. I actually conned an old friend into being President of it so I wouldn't have to. I gotta support her, but will know in the next month or two.

No worries, Iggy. Do what you think is best and we'll work it out. Can I borrow the pimp outfit if you can't make it?

The outfit does no good unless you have the stable of ho's to go with it....and I don't loan them out. I'd offer you a 10% courtesy discount though ;)

Contribution can be changed to sponsorship.

I need to work on clarity of message a bit: I wasn't looking for cash, but for value of products/services, and/or gift certificates.

I can bring them down. Especially for "friends of the FJR" like Alex and Jeff and Ian ???

I'll put up my next draft soon

Personally, I think the values might be a little bit on the high side... especially for some of the home-grown vendors like Skyway, Alex and a few others.

But I like the marketing concept, and the work you've done on the posters here! B)

We can definitely bring the value of the contributions down...see revised brochure below :) Added the survey info too:

Nice polish with the poll data. I think you're there now with the revised amounts.

....and I get the contribution "equivalent" thing now. I've got hydroplanes on the brain. My other event are cash sponsorships. Since we have to raise $650K a year...we struggle with rounding up enough $25K sponsors. It's all relative. ;)

Good job!

Orange, if you already have a couple sponsors lined up, let me have the names/web sites, cause I am fairly close to releasing the official web site (after I find and correct two fatal database errors that are giving me fits! )

So far, I have : Yamaha, FJRGoodies, BikeJohnny, VancoSport and Skyway Machine.

You got any others?

Dale,

I'm really curious about the Yamaha factory involvement. Are they coming like in Reno, or are they just donating stuff this time? I have a local (Utah) dealer interested in showing up and I just want to make sure we don't have overlapping needs.

If you want, let Wayne know I'll be there and able to show the Air Mesh Kevlar, in case he doesn't want to bring a suit of his own.

What would be way cool is if he could bring a suit that we could put onto a dummy, or volunteer, and drag at high speed behind a bike. Now THAT would be a seminar!

That's shaping up to be a damned fine list of sponsors! Way to go, O'! :yahoo: :clapping:
