Fine I still am riding Connie,

Here is a posting I made on the COG forum and thought why not a crossover.

COGS and FJRS

how bout it?

I am going to try to plan a lunch ride (more like meeting for lunch since I live close to no one) for a Saturday in late march?

meet at https://www.petes.org/ For me 120 miles and for Dallas area I guess around160- 170. any other close area people interested?

There is a map on the web site. The food is kinda expensive But I like the beer they make.(although I have never eaten there)

What do you think? Give me some input if any are interested. I would probably need a numbers count of some kind. OH and I have never planned anything ,,, so good luck to me!

More info

OK I read some more on line.

Hours on Saturdays are 4pm to blah blah.

Unless they wanna open for a special sport touring party.

I will be calling tomorrow to find out.

OR Sundays they open at noon. Unless everyone is against Sunday lunch!

More to come,

Tim

Tim, have you considered moving this post to the "Texas" or "Midwest" region of Regional Ride Planning? I'm guessing that there aren't a lot of people seeing this where you have it posted.

I'd love to join you as it sounds like Pete's is a great place to eat. However, it's a bit of a drive from San Antonio. :p Next time I'm though there though....

Is there a way to just move it or do I repost the whole thing elsewhere?

I'm game for the ride, but can't make it at noon Sunday. Saturday is OK.
Original plan was for saturday.

Pete's was not open till late on Saturday so it made it too hard for people to get back for a one day event.

Ah well :angry2:

You might try PM'ing one of the admins. I think that a lot of post moving is done by slapnpop. Maybe PM him. Re-posts are frowned upon... so, I'd go the route of asking admin. Good luck w/ your planning. If I were closer I'd join ya'.

We've already been in contact and timalan wants to leave it here.

People will see the thread fine. Most folks use the View New Post feature and will catch it based off of title.

BTW, I activated a rule on the Regional Ride thread to make it easier to know the guidelines for this particular area of the forum. You should see it at the top of this thread.

Ride on!

Will be heading out to north central AR mtns for the weekend early Friday afternoon. Got a late invite from a friend and I'm going to make it happen. I'll take a rain check on Pete's and try to catch a ride with you at another time.
