As of right now, I am most likely going to make it. Unless something should come up at work I'll be there. The wife will be coming along also.

Randy,
I plan on making it. When is the cookout, after the ride?
Whenever it's most convenient for the most folks. If most people are coming in from out of town Sat night, then we can do it Saturday night. If most people are coming in Sun a.m., then we can do it after the ride. Or, maybe both :)

I was planning on making the ride, but hadn't posted up yet. I was thinking of making it an overnighter if my wife comes along. That way it won't be too many miles in the saddle in one day. But she's undecided, not sure if she can handle the mileage.

We're up to 6 routes. For you Civil War buffs, one of the routes is about 150 miles and takes you through the Gettysburg Battlefields.

I want to go! So far Jim and I are planning it. Count us in.....

I'm thinking If I'm on the road by 5:00AM I can make the meeting time.

Any western PA'ers doing a Sunday only ride?

keep in mind, there are about 6 others on the organizing committee and they're all pulling others in. one of the organizers usually does this on his own and usually brings in 30-50

the others pull from a BMW group, a Triumph group, a VStrom group, and a Concours group.

Weather is looking perfect for Sunday! :yahoo:
Sunny, High 79, 44% humidity. Couldn't have drawn it up any better than that!!!!!

Are you coming in Sat night or leaving early Sun morning? If you're leaving early Sun a.m., shoot me a PM and I'll send you my cell in the event you come across a delay.

Randy, looks like the weather gods are smiling on us for Sunday. I'm heading up from the DC area Sun. morning.

that's great, bill.

335 miles from Mo-town to Carlisle? That's not right.

You can either do 68 to 70 to 81 (quickest route) - 190 miles, my friend's daughter goes to WVU and she says it takes less than 3 hrs

or 68 to 219 to PA turnpike...starting point is only a few blocks from turnpike exit

or 68 to 522 to PA turnpike

all depends on how much slabbin' you want to do.

you coming solo or bringing someone with you? if you want, shoot me a pm with your cell and i'll give you mine in the event something pops up.
