That's funny, I spotted one in SC at 14 and 11 yesterday morning...and was so curious I followed him up into NC, TN and back down south to SC. I never could catch that guy, but he stopped for gas, and I saw I was empty, so I stopped as well. Then he took off again, and headed on some of the twistiest roads ever, even going so far as to ride 5 miles of gravel to get there. He finally stopped in Trust, NC. I got his name, it's Duane...I guess he's on this Forum.

So I don't think it was us you saw, but if you ever see a Black Cherry 2007 with SC plates on it...follow it. It could be a really good day!

Just don't follow the other guy.... unless you like gravel.

Must have been FJRs all over the place yesterday. I committed an atrocity upon my rear tire while chasing a Gen3 down East Fork.

I’m certain that I started the day with well over 25% of my tread remaining. At lunch a look at the tire caused no concern. This morning I was surprised at the condition of my drive rubber. I’m pretty sure that the 12 miles on East Fork Rd claimed more rubber than the other 437 miles combined. Maybe it was a good thing that Hwy 80 was wet and foggy.

Total miles on this BT023GT is 4,157. MUST BE HAVING FUN

Edit: P.S. I figured out where I messed up on getting over to Double Island. Now I can't wait to try again!
