I got one and it looks complicated to install, Any comments or suggestions on how to install would be cool including if this alarm is Lame or sugggest something else. Thanks DR

Don't know anything specific about this particular one but typically they all need a connection to constant battery power, ground, ignition detect circuit (switched power such as tail light wire). There may be other connections to each signal light, which flashes when alarm is activated. Maybe you have a proximity sensor for anyone getting too close to the bike (typically under the seat). There may be an antenna wire if yours has a pager remote. A good spot is inside the right side cover, unless you have ABS then it's tight.

I've used Gorilla 7007 alarms for years. Install is pretty quick, only a battery connection required. Has motion sensor, current sensor, flashing light indicator, and is pretty fricken loud. Basically a one piece unit. Available almost anywhere for about $80. The upgrade unit is a 7017 which has a pager function.

Probably not nearly as good as a Scorpio, but good protection none the less.
