A couple of wires in the telephone jack that plug into the Escort broke at the back of the jack. I have power, but no audio through the Starcom. I can't remember which wire/jack item i ordered way back when, & can't seem to find a suitable replacement using multiple search terms. I ordered an Escort direct-wire kit, but that was no help because it only contains the red/black power wires, no audio.

Suggestions anyone?

Contact a guy by the name of Tim Graham who works out of a shop called CalgarySportTouring. You can Google the contact info. Speak with him. He is all knowledge when it comes to the Starcomm system.Hope that helps. Tell him Charlie from Whitby Ontario gave you his name.Hope this helps.

You can also get a cheap crimping tool and a jack and make a new connector. It's an RJ11 jack. $15 maybe.
