I am impressed with the prompt response from Electrosport. I have E-mailed them yesterday and already have a response on the stator subject TODAY.

RITZO,
I have purchased the High Output Stator from you at
Electrosport but have not put it on yet. I first
heard about it on the FJRForum. I want to make sure
that the product is safe to install and that it will
be an improvement over the OEM part. I have heard,
from the Forum, that there have been problems already
with the voltage jumping around and sinking lower.
Do you have any plans to correct this problem with the
invention of a Electrosport Reg/Rectifier for the 2005
model FJR? Should I go ahead and install the New
Stator? Should I return the unit?
Could you please respond to my letter just to save me
any problems with the bike.
sincerely,
Daniel Herman
RESPONSE:
Hi Daniel,
I am investigating if there is a problem with the FJR stator. However I
have not seen anything occur that is out of the ordinary.
There will always be fluctuations in the system voltage, the problem
might just be that riders have their eyes glued to the volt meter and
feel that there is a problem while actually there isn't.
On the forum there are also riders with the stock system that see the
same thing happening.
And I have seen a lot of OEM Japanese machines that show similar
fluctuations. Again: someone with a CBR600RR does not put a volt meter
on his bike, so won't notice it.
Based on my experience I am inclined to think there is no problem with
the ESG130 FJR high power stator on this machine.
But I am not underestimating this issue and am definitely taking it
seriously. I will do research this week to see if there is a problem.
Sincerely,
