San Francisco Bay Area
I'm still on vacation (till Monday), so I did my favorite Bay Area solo ride today, which takes about three hous. I call it the Three Bridges Loop Ride--across the Bay Bridge through San Francisco, over the Golden Gate Bridge into Marin, and then back home over the Richmond Bridge. It was classic San Francisco weather: Fog and overcast! :glare:

Took some photos (below). I also shot some video, which I may post later.

Yours truly, with the San Francisco cityscape in the background (take my word for it ;) --below):

Yep, been there. Just didn't seem the same FROM A RENTAL CAR!

Good pics! I would say thanks for sharing, but envy prevents me.

:)

We were in the city yesterday for about 1-1/2 hours. You should have taken the pics then. It was gorgeous! On a mission, so no stops for picture taking. Next time...I forget how a nice shot of the skyline looks so impressive to those who haven't seen it up close. The LEO's and other traffic really frowns on people stopping on the Bay Bridge to take pictures.

JB, have you ever ridden up to the summit of Mount Tamalpias (I probably butchered the spelling, but what the heck), or over to Muir Woods? I loved those roads when I passed through San Fran. a few years back.

Darn tootin' I've been on those rides. Marin County (which is where Muir Woods and Mt. Tamalpais are) has some great motorcycle roads. When the weather's clear, you can see the entire Bay Area from the summit of Tamalpais.
