Stemstand Size Question

My wife is getting me a Garmin 2610 for our anniversary and I am going to mount it with a Stemstand and a Touratech mount. My question is, what size Stemstand would be best for mounting the TT mount? Looks like there are 2.5x3" and 2.5x5" versions. I don't plan on mounting a radar detector (I don't speed) or any other farkle onto the Stemstand.

Brett, give cyclegadgets a call, they can put one together in any size you want. I am sure they could tell you the best setup. Hope this helps..

I'm sure that will be a good setup, but I'm starting to lean away from stem stands to ram mounts. The former are better looking, but they don't hold up that well. The plastic bearings are also whimpy for the loads they may have to endure. I jave a touratech and recently switched to RAM with no problems.
