Stock Mirror Question - Do They Fold In?

I just skipped out for a lunch-trip to buy a cover. It's supposed to rain tomorrow and until I get my cycle-shell fixed, my 2 day old FJR will be exposed to the elements. I bought a Large cover (specified sport-tourer), but when I tested to see if it fits, it's a bit snug at the mirrors.

Without having my owners manual with me (and unable to go play with the bike while I'm at work), can anyone tell me if the stock mirrors fold back or in to make the cover fit better? It's a good fit otherwise.

Yes, they pivot back, at least on my '06. I suspect yours are the same.

I know that the left side mirror on my 03 folds in. I found out by laying the bike over on it's side. The mirror folded, then popped back into place with a gentle push, once the bike was upright again.

If you're real smart, you may be able to fold yours WITHOUT dropping the bike.
