Is the 2003 windshield the same size and bolt pattern as the 2005? If it is, I will just make you a long term loan of my old windshield; as I'm running the TALL Yamaha shield on my 2003. I'll call SkooterG tomorrow, he'll know if it's the same. I can deliver it to Orange in September visiting my Mom/Sisters.

thanks for the offer Don, i think the 03 is a little shorter than the 05's though i am not 100% sure.

I am on the phone with a dealer right now getting a price and will let you know.

Hello Richard,

Got a response back from SkooterG: "Your 2003 windscreen should fit his 2005, though they made slight changes from 03 to 04." But, it sounds like a 2005 for your 2005 would probably be a better way to go! Please tell Barry and Ed that we Arizonans are still planning an FJR ride to Mexico's Copper Canyon over October 5-10. We know we are staying at the Holiday Inn in Hermosillo; firming up the lodgings for Creel, Batopilas and Divisadero. Thanks!
