Well,

Its been a few weeks since my rear wheel issue was resolved, and I thought that it was time to dip my hat into the fakel pool. So, I made a few changes to my FJ. First, I got me a set of Leo Vinci cans. I love the sound. So nice and deep, and just right when your on the gas, but, mellow when you not. Not to mention that there really does seem to be a nice hit in the old "butt" dyno from adding them on.

Second, Got a set of the Skyway shield spacer, to help with air flow. Decent improvement.

Third, did the throtal spring mod. I like this one! Made the throtal turn so much easier and smoother.

Fourth, got a super brace for the front forks. not bad, can notice a little bit better control, but its a pit pricy for the small gain..

And finally fifth, I made the jumper mod, and changed the CO settings on my bike. I went up 7 on each, and it feels like the bike runs smoother. But Im curious as to what others have changed there amounts by, and what they have felt. I did find it interesting that each injector value was differant. #1 was at 6, #2 was at 10 #3 was at 12 and #4 was at 14. I wondering if each needs to be the same to optimise the motor, or are they differant fro a reason..

Hi Sean,

I'm not sure what the normal factory setting would be for an 05 but the factory settings for 06 and 07 were for the most part 1 of 2 sets of numbers

CO1 CO2 CO3 CO4

-10 8 8 11

5 18 18 21

These where the only factory settings that I had seen posted here at this forum. They were mixed between the 06 and 07's. My factory settings where

5,18,18,21 and I bumped them all by 5. It seemed a little sluggish at 7 and 5 seems just about right for mine. I had my ECU replaced recently and the new one

was also set at 5,18,18,21 as well.

Thanks for that info. I went and took my out for a ride again today, and it feels better than it did at stock levels, but I might try to play with it both ways and see what happens. I wonder if there was a reason for the GEn 2 bikes to have a differant setting than the Gen 1 bikes....hum...

Third, did the throtal spring mod
Scrotal?
if you remove this part completely, would that be a scrotal-ectomy?

did it make the stock seat comfier?

seriosly though - Sean, don't worry about the numbers of each cylinder being all different - that's normal. If you don't want to spend any more moolah (on smoothness and 'feel') - don't even consdider searching the forum on threads that talk about the power commander PCIII.

ride safe! - Bull
