I attended the Streetmasters Precision Cornering Workshop class this past Saturday (9/22).
In a nutshell: what a great course. Well worth the investment in my riding ability and safety.
Anyone who is thinking about it should take it without hesitation.
My class was a bit more “challenging”. We did have a wet track in the morning as well as rain during our final exam. Which in hindsight was a good thing. I can’t think of a better way to learn my FJR than with some wet roads on a closed course.
I was the only one representin’ the FJR community. A couple of ST1300s, some Goldwings, a couple of Harleys and to my surprise 10 BMW motorcycles – most of any brand.
Only “complaint” was the ride up and back. Each way about 75 miles for me. Both were in the rain, and it was heavy at times. However, as this was my first time riding in this much rain, the FJR was rock-solid.
