As some here are aware I'm stuck working in the Arm pit of The United States.. Well tonight while oot fer a smoke I ran into a couple on the way home from Florida.. I know ..Who da *** goes to Floordida in July

Well it seems Judy and Dave are from Sudbury so I guees thier lack of geographical sense makes sense.. They were astonished (by the looks on thier faces) That, I not only had heard of the big Nickle, I'd actually passed by and know of a resident.. I suspect they know Steve .. but like most, don't want to admit to it..

Small world indeed..

BTW No evidence of Scooter ever being here I've looked everywhere

Doesn't surprise me in the least. Everywhere I go it seems I meet people from Sudbury. Theirs is a reason for this. Most people can't wait to get the FECK OUT OF HERE!

Case in point: The 3 Amoebas stopped in Red Lodge Montana after riding Beartooth Pass for lunch. I'm outside having a butt (I'm detecting a trend here) when I see a Pastor eyeballing my bike. After chatting for a bit. Yup, you guessed it. From Sudbury. (They probably ran him out of town!)

The even stupider bit is that many of them return. Sudbury is a black hole that sucks you back.

As for Judy and Dave, ya, I know them and they definitely won't admit to knowing me. Who knew Lysol was so flammable?!

You know, people say Canadians are Mexicans with sweaters. But maybe, just maybe, its the other way around. Maybe Mexicans are Sudburyans with wife-beaters. Things that make you go hmmmmmm.

And later, more awesome ways to offend two neighboring countries in 100 words or less.

My only question is: how many laps around the parking lot did it take 'em to finally leave the parking lot?

Andy, that was downright mean to Bungie and his Sudburyan Friends!

"Maybe Mexicans are Sudburyans with wife-beaters." Very Interesting!

Least the taxi drivers know where ATTENDED

gas stations are in the middle of the night. Seems

the pumps there don't like US based credit cards.

OR they just want some passerthroughs to actually

stay there. Either way I have used White out to take

care of that black hole ... It no longer exist on my maps.

Come to think of it maybe that was North Bay...

I can't tell either apart as BOTH are whited out.

That was North Bay. But Sudbury is the same, 'cept they take you about 30 minutes off the hwy just to get gas. (That's why I took you guys to the 'hidden' gas station nobody knows about for your IBA run.)

If my memory serves me correct, you will be

turning 100k soon (if you haven't already)
Yup, but not yet. I was hoping to role it over this season but it's looking like it's not going to happen till next season.

Sitting at 141KM (87600 miles). I have about 2 months fill in 13K. I've got EOM and either NERDS or SE Ohio in that time. But I'm pretty sure I'll still be about 2-3K short.

Course, I could just ride about a 50-100 miles a night until then :D

You were a tad bit ahead of me at EOM last year,

My decision to do the UCCC with my 05 has left her

just shy of 110k. Ahhh but August will be a killer month.

I figure at least 15k. I will probably be around 150k by

the end of 2013.

Trans Canadian ride calling your name?

Trans Canadian ride calling your name?
Constantly.

But, unfortunately, 10 vacation days this year. Most of which I've used up.
I am pretty much done with solo cert rides. BUTT...

I have been thinking about organizing a group TCR where a rider could jump in

at any point and do a SS1000 or do a Trans Canadian one way/Round trip. It was fun

doing the Lake Huron SS and it got me thinking...

got U thinking?? Get with me man I ready to ride along again If I ever get home...........

Might have 500 miles on this year at this point..
