Suggestions wanted for WI weekend destination w/wife

We're from SE WI and we'd like to have a weekend MC excursion someplace beyond the Kettle Moraine in WI that will provide the following:

1. Hotel accomodations - at least a Super 8 or Motel 6 type of place

2. Shopping - Outlet mall or other shopping center (Mall of America is a bit farther than we want to ride)

3. Hiking trails or other scenic outdoor activity options - State Parks are certainly possible, if we haven't been there yet

4. Good riding roads nearby or on the way

We have already been to Devil's Lake State Park (very enjoyable), Door County (very touristy atmosphere), and the Wisconsin Dells (mostly with kids).

My wife attended school at UW-La Crosse and is a fan of the bluffs in the area (Perrot State Park comes to mind) so that isn't out of the question.

Have you any recommendations for a couples weekend that may include these prerequisites? Been anywhere that knocked your socks off?

Chris, have you ever been over to Galena, IL?

My wife & I road down there a few weeks ago & had a great time.

It pretty much has everything you were inquiring about.

We booked in the WI Dells for the weekend. Thanks for the suggestion anyway, Marc.
