Ya know, there are very few businesses that I deal with that offer even a modicum of service. That said, I just want to give a big 'Attaboy' to Jeff of sportbikeeffects.com.

Now mind you, I had just a silly little Starcom question about some new widgets, so I shot him an email expecting my answers in a day or two. That same night, my home phone rang and it was Jeff responding to my piddly little questions. Now, you might say, 'Big whoop', but Jeff wasn't calling from his 'warehouse'. Nope. He was calling from Alaska, part of a multi-day business trip where he was in the process of picking up a plane to fly it back east. To think that he took the time to grab his sbe.com email, read my questions, then look up my number and call me, well, that's what I call customer service above and beyond.

Thanks, Jeff! You and sportbikeeffects.com ROCK!

+1 on Jeff's service. I badly needed a part to get my FJR running for a group ride, he called me at home then checked which warehouse/supplier had it closest to me. I had it in 2 days. All that and he's a really nice man and good rider, too.

I've been putting off the Starcom purchase for over a year, mostly for lack of info on some fine points. Jeff spent an hour and a half on the phone with me, answering EVERY last question I had, e-mailed me diagrams and part numbers for setting up a switched Blue Seas fuse box and then included a sheet with all kinds of info on all the variables and tips on operating the Starcom in the manner I wish. No other vendor would have spent that much time, and I'd have made numerous mistakes in what I purchased, simply from my lack of understanding about all the nuances.

Great guy, really good rider, knows his stuff and is extremely helpful. Not my first buy from him, nor will it be my last.

I don't have the wiring in yet (need a major plastic removal operation to do a number of things to the Feejer), but the Russell back rest was a BIG grin producing addition for yesterday's ride up 49 to the overlook on Bassetts Grade and back.

I'll let you in on a little secret.........

Jeff does ALL his calls from somewhere other than home. He's never home! :p

I had the honor of meeting him in NJ for lunch one day, and he was talking to a customer while eating lunch.

Jeff is one cool guy worthy of everyone's business, that's for sure!

Now about that PCIII, Jeff......... ;)

It's not his 'home', it's his 'warehouse'! Even says so on his order confirmations. Prettiest damn window treatments for a warehouse in the whole country!

+1 to Jeff also, and I've never actually been a customer. I ordered stiffer springs from SBE when a fork seal puked - Jeff called the world trying to get a decent set to me within the time window I requested (before the shop replaced the blown seal). He let me know early on there was little chance of getting the parts inside of the 2 day window I thought I had, but still he pulled out all the stops trying to help me out.

+1, 2, 3

I've done business with Jeff twice. He always calls from wherever he is to say hello, chit chat, and make sure. I got the "Alaska" call as well, so either he was really there or takes the trouble to write down whatever story he's fobbing around that day so he can pass it along to everyone who calls
