Superbikes coming to Mid-Ohio

Vintage Days at Mid-Ohio is the weekend of July 25th and 26th. Superbikes come the next weekend Aug 1st -3rd. Both weekends are a blast IMO. Just wonderin if anybody is going to either.

I am thinking of going to Superbikes. For the weekend of the 25th was considering taking a long weekend and going to tail of the dragon. Anyone else interested?

Let me give this some thought. I really do want to see the Superbikes. I don't know if its the Superbikes, as much as its the whole weekend thing. You know Campin out, eatin really good, catchin some rays, lookin at all the bikes in the infield, or just talkin shop with all the different people you meet. Again let me give it some thought. And Oh Yeah! By the way. You really missed a great weekend, a couple of weekends ago. The "RAMBLE II" was unbelievable. So my question is, why go all the way to the Gap when you can just repeat the ride we did for "RAMBLE I" ? Anyway let me think it over.

Ride probably part of the "RAMBLE" on Saturday mornin and head back to Mid-Ohio by noon to catch the last of the races.Spend all day Sunday there, then head home. But, Hey!!!! If your around Saturday mornin we'll be at the Super 8.

I have that weekend open so maybe will join you Friday night and Saturday. Where are you staying Saturday night? I am thinking of doing the sports bike track program on the 29th at midohio (sportstrax). May call you to discuss.

I already have my tickets for both weekends. I should be at vintage days on sat and sun. I plan on attending the superbike weekend on all three days.

I also have tickets for the AMA sports rd race grand champs on september 19 - 21. If you have never been it's a really good weekend of amature racing. No crowds, no vendors even. I could sit on the back straight and see all the way across to the start finish line. Definately something you should consider attending.

I usually park in the little grove of trees just after manufacturers row on the left. It is close to the restroom, Domino's and the back straight which is the place I like to watch the racing from. I have a blue 2005.

David, I'll be down there for the race on Sunday the 3rd, we usually sit in the S's at the top by the pine trees...I'll keep an eye open for your bike when I park. Where are you from?

Generally walk all around most of the day, Like turn 10 and along the fence in Thunder Alley. I already know Joe by sight, will look for your bike.

Don't know you fellows but I'll be at Mid-Ohio for both weekends. Working for AHMRA for Vintage weekend. Camping at Jellystone campgrounds both weekends. Coming up on Thursday evening and staying thru Sunday. If you see an'06 with a Turtle on the winshield and a black Givi trunk thats me, stop by and say Hello.
