A recent thread on this Forum suggested to me that I am not alone in trying to figure out how best to set my front and rear rides. I upgraded to GP's front fork springs and Wilburs shock last year and although I much prefer the result to the stock units, I'm really not sure how to accurately dial in the system for me. Riding alone with no gear, OK. Then I load up with gear and crank up the rear. Then I add my pillion and crank in some more.

Is there any way to invite someone who can address this in Park City? Or maybe have the Yamaha guys talk to us??? Or have the Wilburs guy or GP (maybe Dave wants to come over) present something?

Just asking. Anyone else interested in this?

I realize the organizers have an enormous amount of time already invested in this event (for which we are all grateful) and probably aren't looking for more to do, but maybe another attendee with knowledge / experience can help?

We're working on a Lee Parks clinic to take place in Park City during WFO. They have a whole module dedicated to suspension setup, and if you buy the book "Total Control" before then and study up on the suspension setup chapter, you'll probably be able to teach a clinic of your own.

This is a great learning tool as well as a great reference point. I'd put this at the top of the list if you want to learn about the how's and why's of getting your suspension dialed in right for YOU.

The Book Motorcycle Suspension Technology(clicky) (written by the Wilbers folks)

Orangevale has some really boffo vendors and seminars set up for WFO-6. Suffice to say, I'd rather let him outline the happenings after all of the hard work he put into this event... The boy deserves some major props! :good:

I don't think that Klaus (the Wilbers guy) will be able to make it. I'm sending my shock in for a rebuild and a hopefully stronger spring this week and I suspect that he will still be working on my rebuild
