Swiss Air Force yearly flight demo show in the alps

This is happening yearly...20-30,000 people taking a 5hr hike up to the alpine meadow ( Bernese Mountains) where you can watch the whole show

I was up there 2 years ago

F/A 18 firing their guns

and the Swiss Aerobatic Team "Patrouille Suisse" with their Tigers F-5

These guys really know how to fly in those narrow valleys and around those peaks...a year ago a German Tornado 2 seater was flying in the Alps and crashed head on cause he pulled his stick way too late to climb up on one of these steep mountains...

I have 8mm home movies somewhere of F-100s dropping napalm during an airshow from back in '58 or '59, maybe 1960. I'll have to see if I can find that and encode it somehow for uplink.

Doing my best to get posted to Geneva, Alfred, though it appears unlikely so far. We've got an awesome office there, and I love Switzerland. I can only imagine riding an FJR there! Lucky.
