Say it ain't so. The klingons have a saying.....only nixon can go to china.

Just a matter of time before this signing bites them in the rear end. It wouldn't surprise me if the situation imploded in training camp, before they even play any games. :stink:

Contender? You are smoking crack. Once minnesota gets rid of culpepper they will be a contender. Go brad!

Dallas just became a Super Bowl contender...
:eek:mg2: ... :nono:

I think it's more like Jerry Jones just got a big hemoroid on his butt, but doesn't know it yet.

As I am from the Philly area, and an Eagles fan, I hope he pulls the same stuff he pulled on Philly.

Since it took him a year to implode the team here, I hope he works quicker in Dallas so the 'Boys don't kick our ***...

Well, J.J. and the 'Boys have hired other ex-49ers with great success, so why not? The shame of it all is that T.O. is such a talented individual who seems to waste so much energy blaming and accusing others, creating descension. Good luck, Cowboys.

Of course, it'll give me much to abuse the Cowboy fans at work! :D

After all the ******** calls in the playoffs last year I'm giving up on football and going riding every sunday, all day long. seems the NFL has a lot of problems to fix before I start watching again.

He is a total pain in the ***...I would tell him to stay home 'cept for game days. Send him the game plan at home and let him work on it there. I agree, he is a pain in the ***, but he is the best receiver on the planet(sorry Randy! Smokin' crack wich yo agent now homie???). Parcells has worked with a few doozies in his day. TO will have a 20+ TD season if they can get him the ball.

At first, in SF, he had Jerry Rice as both a mentor, and as the adult necessary to keep him in line . . . almost. An obviously talented receiver, but as he got more years, his attitude and ******** started making it hard to root for him, even as a devoted Niners fan. As his ******** attacks on Garcia showed, even after they were no longer team mates, that he is a petulant child. One good year at Philly (he IS gifted on the field) and that came through, despite his earlier assertions that the reason he wanted to go to Philly instead of the Ravens was that McNabb was a talented QB. And then the child came out again. And when he doesn't get what he wants from inappropriate behaviour, instead of knocking it off and finding another way, he just ramps it up.

The only hope Dallas has is that the narcissistic ******* MIGHT realize he's working on strike 3. If he pulls his act again at Dallas, he's done. Under any circumstances, though, if you're a Dallas fan, it'll be hard to root for him. You'll take the clutch touchdowns, but it won't be like you had a Lynn Swann or Jerry Rice or John Taylor on the field who you really hoped would get the ball and do somehting great.

Wellll, that's why I quit watching 5 years ago. Too many times it appears the league has "the fix" in place. I'm probably wrong, but I'd rather ride, anyway.

I can't agree that the "fix" is in place but most games look like reruns of previous games and are for the most part -- very boring. If you want to have some fun with a diehard football fan, ask him which teams played in the Super Bowl 2 years ago and (when he can't remember) why something that was so important then is so meaningless now.

As a lifelong cowboys fan (my idol as a kid was Roger Staubach....), I've got REAL mixed emotions about this. I wasn't too keen on TO as a person when he was playing the "it's all about me" games for the 9ers and Eagles... and I sure don't want him to bring that attitude to the Cowboys. I've got to think that there are a TON of clauses in the contract for "behaviour contrary to the team" and stuff like that. If he grows up, yeah, he'll help (and is a definite improvement over Keyshawn, who has also been a bit of a jerk from time-to-time). If he starts yapping the first time Drew Bledsoe doesn't throw to him when he's open, I hope Parcells smacks him upside the head.
