Tank camera mounts

I tried a search and didn't find too much.

What does the FJRForum collective recommend for a tank camera mount?

I found this one but wasn't sure if the extender was totally necessary.

Pretty much would like to order one ASAP as I'm flying down to Tampa on the 21st to buy an FJR and and take the next 6 days to return back to NH.

I have the same one you linked to with the extender.

IMO you need the extender to clear the gages and actually shoot the scenery vice 1/4 road, 3/4 gages.

Your results will also depend on the design and height of your camera.

I am using a Canon Elura 60 for camera shape/size comparison.
