The WFO guys demostrated throttle body syncs for the uninformed.

If someone brings the vaccuum gage, I can bring everything else needed.

Mercury spillage is not good for my saddle bags.

Be happy to walk anyone though it.

It seems new bikes are more likely to drift out of adjustment.

I guess they just don't have enough dirt on the screws yet.

Do my bike, do my bike... please, please, please!!!! Hahaha!!! The last two times I went to Travis's in Johnson City to route scout we were going to do it. We ended up riding each time instead.

Very cool guys.

Done deal.

With 2 gages, we should be able to knock them out pretty quickly.

I'll put together little tool kit with a torque wrench, right sized screw driver,

extra vaccuum caps (those little *******s are programmed by Yamaha to run and hide) ;) ,

sockets, and a couple bungies to hold the tanks up.

Well I'll bring the bungies, we used this past weekend, thanks again :clapping: for walking me through that TBS.

Your idea for a pit stop with a few people doing specific jobs , is ideal to allow us do quite a few in a short time.

Me too!!! PLEASE...I REALLY want to learn this.....please, please, please Pick me, PICK ME TOO!!!!!!!

You Da men, quickie and geez.

Wonder what the strafing crew will look like this time? I'm feeling naughty. :sheep:

Not really sure when to do it.

If there are only a half dozen or so, maybe we can plan for Friday before dinner time.

Like 6:00 to 7:00 time frame. Just look for an FJR in the parking lot with the tank up.

And whoever else jumps in line before people get boring and wander off to dinner.

Looks like there will be plenty of experience around, in the peanut gallery. :D

Friday evening sounds like a good time. I was thinking about how we would schedule this session. Thanks for doing that.

I was planning to bring only the gauge but if you think we'll need other tools let me know and I'll bring whatever is needed.

I threw together some tools last night.

12 & 13 mm sockets to loosen the tank pivot. Wrenchs work fine too.

10 mm socket to the front of the tank. (plus an extension so we stay away from the paint)

Click wrench for locking the tank back down. (10Nm iirc)

A couple different needle noses for nipple remove. (pinky to corner of mouth like Dr. Evil)

Several small flat head screw drivers for screw adjustment.

4mm allen for side panel fasteners.

A few shop rags for paint protection and dirtiness.

Mike W. is bring a couple delux bungies to hold a couple tanks up.

That's pretty much it. At least for the necessities.

Of course any spares that are around could always come in handy. (Geez)

But, don't feel the need to load your bike down with a full tool box,

Slappy said he'd throw a tools in his car for emergencies.

For an end of the day activity like this, beer donations might improve the quality of the work.

Mr. Yamaholic, how the hell are ya?

Don't see you registered. Hope you are coming out to play. :clapping:

Brent, I was FIRST in line. I was hoping that I could be the test subject. I'll be paying attention to when this will begin. See you in 1 week,

Heidi
