I happened to be at Desert Powersports in Prosser WA. Saturday and while chatting with Dan he asked me to put up a notice for this years Techwest. Sooooooo, here it is.
Techwest 2010 will be held at Desert Valley Powersports in Prosser, May 2010. (Exact date TBA)
Having attended a few of these over the years I can say that this is an event very well worth making. Dan and crew pull out all the stops to make it a great opportunity to meet up with fellow FJR owners, learn some cool stuff and hang out at a dealership that has been a major supporter of the FJR community since the very begining of the FJR story in North America. Simply put, it's always a kick-ass good time. Pillions are always welcome as well and if yours isn't into "bike tech days" no problemo, Prosser is in the heart of wine country. You go to Techwest, your pillion can go on a winery "crawl." Everyone wins!
In the past the Best Western next door to the shop has offered a generous "event" rate for those wishing to stay over for the night. Once Dan has set a date I would expect that to hold true this year as well. So for those looking for an early riding season weekend away on the bike, this a great opportunity for an FJR "road trip" to get the season off to a great start.
Stay tuned for the details and in the meantime keep your calender for May open.
