Testing an FJR1300?

I just got back from filling up my car at the gas station -- a guy come pulling in on his 05 Ninja - we start chatting, and I tell him I ride a FJR. He replies that he thinks he (and a buddy of his) would probably be interested in one, but that he could never find a dealer that had one on the floor to check out. And he (unlike me ) would never put down $500 on a bike sight unseen.

Just made me think about how many potential sales that Yamaha is missing because of their PDP system. Oh well -- I got mine! Jay

You could see a few at the NorCal ride 3/18, someone MAY let you sit on theirs.

I was going to suggest the same thing. Either met us at the "assembly area" @ Moskowitz Corners or come to Occidental for lunch, it looks like there'll be 16-20 FJRs, different years and different "farkles". Guaranteed we like to talk about our bikes and I'll bet you could sit on one or two. Just find the guy organizing it, I'd bet he could introduce you around. He'll be the little, quiet guy with a gray beard.
