In Alaska, they told me that if Texans didn't stop complaining about being the second largest state, they would cut Alaska in half and make Texas the thrid largest state. :D

Ron

You kids don't know anything about alaska. As for texas being the third largest state? Who cares. I was born and raised in alaska. It's cold there. That's why I live in texas. Two wheels and the road, kids. Get it straight. :agent:

That's the problem Od, all the roads I saw in Texas are straight! :haha:
CK :super1:
And like most foreigners, you didn't see what you didn't bother to look for.

We're happy to take nice visitors to see the twistes in the Hill Country, The Lost Maples, Palo Duro Canyon, Crocket National Forest, the Gulf Coast anti bellum architecture, the windswept beauty of Monahans Sandhills, the humbling ruggedness of Big Bend. Yet we’re always mindful that there are none so blind as those who will not see.

If God had meant for Texans to ski, he would have made ******** white!

I can say that, 'cause I was born at Ft. Hood, and have always returned to Texas whenever I've left.

I've lived all over the world, from Japan to Germany, from Colorado to New Jersey to Illinois, and I always come back to Texas.

I don't want to live anywhere else. As for Alaska being the largest state, well, maybe. But what if all that ice melted, huh?

:D

 LOL!

Who the hell is Janine Turner? Never heard of her.

And why would Texans admit Anna Nicole Smith is from Texas--that woman is living proof that "while beauty may be only skin deep, ugly goes all the way to the bone!"

I wonder if one day I'll be in a "Notting Hill" party, talking to someone EVERYONE knows is famous, and I won't have a clue.. :haha:

I don't know much about Texas. Last May, on our way to Guatemala City to visit our future son (he was 3 1/2 months old then) we landed in Houston to change planes. All I saw was flat land and dust. It was hot where we were outside. My wife, who has been to Texas a number of times, in answer to my question, said "Yep, most of Texas looks like this." To which I replied. "Ok. Can we go now?"
The little boy turned 10 months on 1 Dec and is sleeping nicely upstairs--seeing something today he would never have seen in Guatemala--snow. He's named for my late dad.
Sorry Yanktar but again I have to disagree. Texas according to the Dallas museum has all 4 basic environments including mountains, desert, wetlands, prairies. While much is flat to really see Texas, West Texas is a completely different world all together than say Houston. Even where I am from in Texarkana Texas is much more trees and such than Houston.

Dude! WTF!???? How could you have missed this beauty?! Woof.

Texas:

Lackland AFB is the basic training ground for all USAF recruits, and officers. Lackland is just outside of San Antonio where they have a nice downtown river walk and shopping. Corpus Christie (sp?) is a really, really nice beach area with warm, clear aquamarine waters, great sand etc. Texas has the NHL in one of their towns. Texans, although discouraged by many, are allowed to go to Colorado. ;-)

Notice that much of her upper lip is just lipstick. Her makeup artist simply drew in some extra lip and shaped it. The lower lip looks like it was injected with play-doh.

Like many states, Texas has a varied topography. My brother lived in San Angelo, and that is flat. Houston is as hot and muggy as it gets. Corpus Christie is beautiful as long as you don't leave the beach area. San Antonio is one of the nicer cities in the USA.

So, a fellow dies in Houston and finds himself sitting in a hot, sulfury smelling room when in comes a strange looking character with horns and a green tail. "What do you think of the temperature down here," asks the devil. "Whew, just like late April in Houston," responds the man.

So, the devil goes to the physical plant and turns up the heat. "What do you think of the temperature now!!?" "Oh, man, mid-June in Houston," says the fellow.

The devil heads back to physical plant and turns up the heat as high as it will go! "OK, what do you think about the temperature NOW!!?" "The poor guy wipes away the perspiration and says "Mid-August, Houston."

The devil is beside himself with anger, so he goes back to physical plant, turns the heat off and turns the air conditioning to full 'high'. After a while he goes back to see a shivering, shaking man. "What do you think of the temperature NOW!!!!?

"Oh," says the man, "Texas Tech must have won a football game."

they use cadaver skin to plump up lips. I've heard of a dead F$^%, but a dead kiss is definitely worth missing...yuck. Eww. Yuck.
