Iwant to say thanks to the forum as a whole for the incredible collective knowledge here. During the two weeks my tank was off getting painted (See here) I installed many of the farkles on my list. Without your assistance, I'd never have been able to:

-remove the tank in 20 minutes

-Disable the windshield autoretract (thanks Warchild and FJRtech.com)

-install Magnum Freeway blaster horns with FJRandy's beautiful harness

-figure out that the loose nut that tumbled out during the horn install was from the mirror

-elegantly install a Fender Extender (Warchild again)

-Protect my investment with Skyway's magnificently manufactured sliders

-know what to search for for paint protection

-make a between-the-seats helmet lock (headude's design)

-figure out where to get switched power for the aftermarket heated grips

-expand my list of future farkles even farther!

This forum is an amazing collective of information. Hope I can pass along some of my own someday.

I woiuld have to agree, without this forum I might have bought another bike instead of the FJR .Great great information here.
