The Agony and the Ecstacy

I haven't posted in the forum for a few weeks. First, my work computer broke. Then, my home computer broke. Then, my Vulcan broke.

I bought parts, spent many hours in the garage, and the vulcan only kinda worked.

Yesterday, after doing the math on how much more I would have to spend on parts, I worked out that that would be the cover the monthly payments on a new '13 FJR between now and March (when I was planning on trading in the Vulcan anyway), added in the extra frustration, and I came to the conclusion that I should just go to the dealer and get what I could from the Vulcan.

I pick up my new ride at noon.

I am so, so, very excited.

Good deal! I love my '13, I have a strong feeling you will too... the '14's red is NICE and all, but the stone grey of the '13 is stunning... Now you need to start researching Canyon Cages and Bag Guards and Cee Bailey's windshields and permanent oil filters and, well you get the idea...

Good news. Good time of year for 13's. What dealer was the lucky one?

Ride in Woodinville. They gave me the best trade in, plus they happen to be 3.6 miles from home.

Odd though, I picked up the bike with two miles on the odo, and we only stopped for lunch, and now I have 73 miles on the bike. I'm not sure how that happened.
