I have the Ampli-rider but I do not use it with an Autocom. The amp is very loud and has worked well for me. It is designed to be used with in ear bud type phones and may not be loud enough if you are using helmet speakers.

I've been using the Amplirider for just over two years and can attest to it's quality and reliability. I don't use an Autocomm system, but I don't see why it wouldn't work. I mounted mine in the glove box on my 05' which keeps it out of the elements. Don't think you'd be disappointed.

I use the portable version and keep it in a tank bag pocket. Don't use it with my Autocom, but it should work. You might have to get a headphone adapter to use ear buds or try using it ahead of your Autocom but that would limit your inputs to one.

I like the portable version, comes with a recharger and a full battery charge will last at least a couple of days, maybe more.

I have one also and it has worked very well. I am still trying to find a filter for the input power as I get some noise thru the sound.

Over all very good and I have the remote volume control next to my zumo, I also have another input to the amp from my ipod and both work great.

Mine's going on a year old and works very well. Now if I could just find a BT dongle that would pipe it all to one of those slick BH-600 BT headsets, I'd be a real happy camper.

I've used an AmpliRider for the last year in conjuntion with the last generation (not current) Autocom. I love the thing. With earbuds, you can blow your eardrums out. With helmet speakers, still loud enough. With earplugs and helmet speakers...well, it could use a bit more juice, but the stock Autocom helmet speakers are distorting by then anyway. I disassembled the volume control box and mounted the volume rheostat in one of Bill McAvan's excellent control boxes https://www.blm-accessories.com/Controlboxes.cfm

Now for full disclosure: the incredible thunderstorms and rain I encountered on the first day of the IBR fried the thing. I don't fault the AmpliRider itself; there was no claim of waterproofness and the weather we encountered was extreme. I will replace it with another AmpliRider. I feel its a great product.

I'm glad you posted that. I was thinking that a BT dongle had something to with Beotch Transexual anatomy.
