The bike is preped, new tires, tool kit, first aid kit, ID card laminated, gear water proofed. I think I'm ready. Today is check in, tech inspection, 30 mile odometer check, and rider meeting tonight at 8pm where we finaly get our bonus point hand out and can plan our route through this fine state. The weather is perfect for a 1000 mile ride around New Mexico, and it begins tomorrow at 7am. :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: Good luck and safe riding to all the riders and especially the FJR riders, We hope to finish well!

Go get 'em guys! Anyone running SPOT? I'd love to track along..

Well things went alright for my first one. Had a really good time, but 23 hours in tha saddle was tough. Started to see animal shapes in the yucca palnts under the full moon light, that was "intresting". No one got hurt, other then a couple of animals. dcporter was splashed by antalope chunks while passing a bullhauler that hit it at the same time, he said his bike wobbles a little, but no major damage he could see. Saw the largest Elk i've seen, just a couple of steps from entering my lane from the side of the road, timing is everything sometimes. Goldwings kicked our collective asses though, whats up with that? :dribble: I'll be back for more next year! :yahoo: Glad to see the other forum members in person, it was a pleasure, hope you made it home safe.

Thanks guys. It was some major fun! Once again, Ira, Jeff and crew put together a fantastic rally that all enjoyed. I'm already looking forward to next year's rally.

Monster kudos to Tom & Rosie. Awesome couple and great competitors.
