The twin bazooka canisters on the 2008 Hayabusa are beyond huge and hideous... they have got to go!

But being a brand new model, there aren't a whole lot of options out there. Yet.

But in March or '08, these babies from Devil are supposed to be available. If Remus doesn't come up with a Hexacone by then, these look to be top on my list:

Fortunately, the Billboard-size logo is a sticker that can be peeled off, otherwise, these wouldn't be a candidate for me.

I don't have any direct experience with the Devil canisters... anyone with experience with them have any good/bad/indifferent experiences they can share?

I love that bike either way!!!!

I was real tempted to buy one after riding a ZX14 all day before buying the FJR. I'm sure the two are similar. Talk about pull your arms off power wow! makes the FJR and everything else for that matter feel weak.

I like the looks of the 'busa better and its been around so long its probably the better bike. I saw a red one at a dealer a week or so ago....nice.

Ooooooo, pretty..! My neighbor was just talking about these this past weekend. He's currently sporting a set of Yoshimura cans on his '06 'Busa (which sound awesome I might add...). I see that they've got cans for the FJR also. Hmmm....

While I hafta agree that the Devils are a big improvement, I wouldn't quite call the stockers hideous; ...now the can on the new FZ1, yep that qualifies, and neither one can compete w/ the C-14's monstrosity [especially when hung below those "bags by Pontiac"], now that one's seriously Futt Buckin' uuuuugly!

Both sets of pipes look humungous, but I guess the bike needs that much volume to breath.

It sure would look fantastic if they could hide the muffler under the engine or seat!

WC: Out of curiosity, why the Devils over, say, either the slip-ons or full race system from Two Brothers (which, IMHO, is quite an attractive set-up as well)? If one believes everything they read  the dyno charts for the TBR systems are quite impressive...

I have a rather low opinion of TBR, and not just because of their crap fit/finish, **** plating on their attachment hardware and need for frequent re-packing, but because of their ****** ethical behavior in the past. :glare: There is a reason Kevin Erion punted his brother Greg Erion (TBR owner) and went off to start Erion Racing Team.

I wouldn't have any of that Two Bros ****-metal on any of my bikes.....

To answer your question.... it makes more sense to wait for a full system to come out, possibly by Akrapovic next March, or possibly the full system that is already out by TiForce:

Well THAT gave me a woody!!! (With your money, WC, but ain't that the best way to go to a cat house -- on someone else?) That Ti-Force system is as good as an overdose of Viagra.

No question -- get the Ti-Force full system and post up the installed photos. What's the point of having a new Busa if you aren't going to milk all the horse-ponies you can out of its normally aspirated bulletproof self?!?

Looking at the market right now I would take a look at these...Blue Flames. The EVO's 3 in carbon fibre look pretty cool with twin removable baffles. Just $ 0.02 peso's worth. PM. <>< :dntknw:
