I've managed to achieve another milestone --

Alan

Congratulations Alan, another certification to hang on the wall! Does that also mean you qualify to be an Admin on this Forum?

So what was your obviously extreme transgression to garner such status?

I committed the heinous crime of linking to an article in the FJRForum. Worse yet I did it via subterfuge by hiding the link as a Tiny URL link. Dang if the Forum site didn’t already have a better, more complete, informative and educational topic already developed so I did a monstrous thing and (gasp) linked to it. I made no mention of the Forum site, I only said that there was information here (the Tiny URL)

How does isolating the EZely Bored from the rest of the motorcycling community help the members (some of which are paying)? Well, one more contributor has been subtracted from the collective. Very un-Borg like of them

That is too bad -- for EZBored. When you look at the number and the quality of the daily posts, it is easy to see that there are not very many contributors left on that site.

I still have an active account there. I just never post anything. I keep it alive for the classifieds, otherwise I wouldn't miss it. Too bad really, what it has become.

After I got banned back in June I stayed away from the site, who needs that BS ?

I dropped in a few days ago just to see what was shaking. It looks like the only folks over there are a few newbies, some ******s, our forum rejects, and the folks that say the more boards the better. I'm still glad Neuman banned me so I don't waste time over there...

Ionbeam, you bad bad man.

How dare you share knowledge with others.

One day I will get bored, go back there, post a link, and get myself banned for ***** and giggles.

ionbeam, I saw your link in the unmentionable board just today, and led me to believe that Mark had finally dislodged his ***-plug, but apparently it remains deeply trapped in his annal retentive paranoia. :alien:

You should re-post the information about material resistance from that post in this board, I found it rather useful.

Huh. That's funny. I had forgotten all about that other place. Took me a sec for it to even register where you got banned from.

No great loss, to be sure.

+1

I do all my referrals from there to this site via PM or email.

in case you're reading, hi marc! :bye:

You get banned because of this statement, make sure and let us know.

I figure 60-40, against... anyone taking bets? :D :haha:

I look over there maybe once every couple of weeks. I thought the hatchet had been buried, but it's obviously still been swung now and again. IIRC... a post from WC when the schism was happening... when others were saying it would subside, he said "no it won't", and related the Iron Butt disqualification that Mark absolutely refused to accept... over, and over, and over, etc.

Same here. Looking at that site is kind of like watching a daytime soap. You can skip a couple of weeks, look at it for 10 minutes, and confirm that nothing has changed and you haven't missed anything. Its too bad that there are FJR owners over there that still don't know about this site but they will find out eventually and then Marc can look at all the money he has in his account and ponder what to do with it.

the real problem is that some of us contributed to the board when it was just starting and can't get our money back now that they are being :asshat2:s about it.

he's under the mistaken impression that he "made" the board what it was. all he did was kick it off at a pay site. the work of others made it was it was. he was an absentee landlord unless funds got tight. he then insulted and banned the people who did the administration and contributed the content.

but then he also contacted a rally e-mail address and asked if "the same ******* as last year" was going to be the rally master. of course the info address was simply a redirect to the RM (that he was calling an *******). his dnf was everyone else's fault but his own. 3 years later he was still bitching about it and still didn't "get" that everyone carries their own water in endurance rallies; sinking or swiming is up to the rider.

I don't go over there often; only when bored. If I see a question that needs answering, I do the same thing. Answer on the back channel and point them here.
