Leatherbacks are facinating animals. The last week of Feb they used to come up on the beach in St Croix to lay eggs. We would go to the beach and watch them. As a 10year old we could ride on their back till they got to the ocean. Thats something i'll never forget. St croix was alot of fun in many ways, especially in the formative 10-14 years.
