I'm just going to ignore the above ramblings
La Grande to Missoula
Jeff has wanted to order up the biscuits & gravy since we crossed the border.....
After all what is a trip to the States without biscuits & gravy in the morning to make sure the bike stays planted to the ground all day.
If Ray orders a bowl of fruit for breakfast is that cannibalism?
A short ride later we stopped for coffee and then turned on to Hwy 3 which led over to Rattlesnake Mountain just as we crossed over into Washington state....
I would not let Ray in front of me for this section since Ray has the bad habit of sometimes doodling in the twisties and that would be a court marshalling offence on this section of road. While Ray and Jeff were taking photos from the first pullout and sneaked back to the bike, fired up and took off for tons of fun. I have video that will be posted later to prove it. The PR4's are holding up well and gave me enough confidence to take it up a notch and I'm still smiling.
This photo shows just some of the fun that was had.....
From that point we continued to work our way east back to one of the most photographed road signs in Idaho....
we ran into a spot of rain just as we were approaching the summit but it was short lived and was not even worth stopping to put on rain gear.
We rolled into Missoula a little later today due to losing an hour due to the time zone change so I'm cutting this short tonight.
Dessert for the evening was apple crumble....
but it was a poor imitation of what we had in Wilberforce at CFR. I give this dessert a
FAIL!
