I'll probably join in, and drag Thingfish along.
Cool, even if you don't want to do super competitive thing, I'm sure you''ll enjoy the tour.

Yeah, I don't plan to be a competitor, just a sight seer. I have ridden one rally before, the Rhody, and it was fun, but I learned then that I am not a serious rally rider.
I do several thing to move this away from the uber competitive serious rallies. The winner will be the person who comes closest to the secret score so everyone has the chance to take home the grand prize. As a matter of fact there are penalties for too many miles. I put this together so all that enter can have fun, you decide how much is fun and just go do it. Of course there's great riding, you can't swing a dead cat with out hitting good roads all around La Crosse but I'll send you to places you'd never know were there or would have just cruised past.

Sign up! We haven't reached the minimum number of riders for me to move forward on this. I need 10 people that have been committed, I mean are committed, to run the RR

OK, I signed up.

I don't know how to send the fee on Paypal. I don't have a Paypal account and don't want one.

Joe, paper maps will work just fine. I would suggest State maps of Wisconsin. Minnesota, Iowa, and Illinois.

No I don't know where the bonus locations are, but there is a chance that some could be nearby in the border states.

Remember this is not a burn your butt serious rally, more of a let's go have a day of fun rally. Lest that's how I take it.

Ok...stupid question...do I need a GPS? Can this be done without one?
GPS not a requirement or even a need. Bonuses will have a directions and most riders will be getting the bonus info several days beforehand so there will be plenty of time to scour the maps and make a plan. airboss is right MN, WI, IA maps will come in handy IL not likely.

Still looking for one more :big_boss: My plan is to go out this weekend for a final bonus scouting if we get ten. We're running out of time here :eek:mg:

Tell you what. If there is someone out there that is considering and the entrance fee is the deal breaker, I will sponsor the 10th entrant.

Entrance fee is not a prob, but commitment to someplace that I haven't been to before has me saying "don't get locked into sum-tin?" I know I would love to do this, but I also will have my anchor (aka Steamer) along this trip w me, so it can't be jus about me.

VERY kind and generous of Bob^ however. :)

As I see it, this rally will give you a chance to do some sight seeing that you otherwise would miss. How can you lose? You don't have to put much effort into it and you can quit and follow your whim any time you want. Drag Steamer along.

I'm just not sure that I want to ride to NAFO, to go sight seeing by myself.
You can go with me... I don't bite...

often...

In!!! Tyler, I'll go sight seeing with you...you always get the best pictures.

...Now that's the kind of offer I was looking for.
