Ok...stupid question...do I need a GPS? Can this be done without one?

I am late reading this, but I did this rally without a GPS and had a blast. Your best bet is to stop by a border crossing (I came from Iowa) They will

have free pamphlets with attractions in SW Wisconsin… Then the map will show the rally area only and they fit great into the window of your tank-

bag. Different pamphlets show different areas, you will already have the bonus' and so choose you pamphlet wisely!

I will be up in Iowa the week prior, so I could pick you up one and bring it to you. OR…

Well actually I meant that the attraction maps show detailed sections of Wisconsin . Rick gives very good directions to the bonus locations, his directions and a detailed map will be fine for the rally.

As for me, I have a certain bluff that I want to climb and watch the world go by from above. LOL

The model doesn't have GPS so I just ordered my old school GPS (i.e. paper maps!! :lol: ) and will be ready to rock & roll on my first ever rally!! B)

Arrival at La Crosse airport at 2:21pm on Thursday. Ben is going to let me pick up the bike before they close so I'll be ready to go Friday morning. It looks like it's a whopping 8 miles from the airport to their shop so I can just catch a taxi.

A word of caution for the newbies that haven't ridden SW Wisconsin before.

Some of the traffic control signs can be a bit different.
