In support of the "lame *** video" thread I offer up my own lame *** video. It really just a bunch of pictures put together in a slide show. sorry for the music, youtube complained of copyright infringement on the tracks I uploaded. I'm trying for a new soundtrack as I type.

It is mostly a bunch of pictures of roads and will be of little or no interest to most civilians.

We left SE Washington state to Crater Lake, Oregon, and managed to cross the Sierras 7-8 times while in CA. (I'd have to look at the map to be sure). We hit highway 36, the Lost Coast Highway, (probably where Mike blew out his suspension, not that we were going fast or anything). We also stopped by Bodie, CA to check out the old mining town.

It was a good ride.

All pics taken with a Panasonic GF-1 with the 20mm lens. The pics that look like they were taken while riding were. No real pics in the twisties. I was busy with other things.

One final note, the pictures are all sharp even though on the youtube video they are a bit soft. Something to do with transferring to the slide show program and then again to youtube.

Enjoy as long as you can stand it.

Absolutely excellent, jzz!

All VERY familiar roads (damn, we're fortunate to live around here) and that made it perhaps even more enjoyable to watch.

And, you've done what I think should be the most important goal of a ride report -

Prompting the reader/viewer to think "Where is my friggin' helmet?!! I'm OUTTA here!"

Thanks so much for posting.

(Now, if it'd just stop snowing up there.....)

Nice! Maybe someday the snow will melt. According the newspaper this morning, global warming has become "global weirdness" and the snow pack now is 285% of normal.
