Incredible landscapes but...the wind....mine Gott in Himmel, the wind!

Wussed out and grabbed a room...wind - bad; hot shower - good...

Point 'er north and whip them ponies - put some hills between me and this damndable wind...

Clock's wrong - keep forgetting to reset it - it was just before noon....quite brisk when I kicked off at 0700

Nice pics WigWag. In OK we deal with the wind a lot. Yesterday it was blowing 30+ with gust to 45+ so I feel your pain. Today I rode and it was only about 20-25mph. The worst wind I ever rode in was in NM between Springer and Clayton. It must have been been gusting to almost 60mph. Scariest ride I have ever been on. Wife was on the back and she was very quiet.

I hear ya Wig. I think I prefer earthquakes and floods to the wind! It just wears on you, and it makes me irritable--er.

This sign always makes me chuckle though. Not a speck of color in sight!
