Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl "Will you marry me?"

The girl said: "NO!"

And the girl lived happily-ever-after and went shopping, dancing, camping, drank martini's, always had a clean house, never had to cook, did whatever the hell she wanted, never argued, didn't get fat, travelled more, had many lovers, didn't save money, and had all the hot water to herself. She went to the theatre, never watched sports, never wore friggin' lacy lingerie that went up her ***, had high self esteem, never cried or yelled, felt and looked fabulous in sweat pants and was pleasant all the time.

The End

:kiss2:

I like the joke. I certainly get the point that a woman doesn't need a man to have a complete and fulfilling life. Without any intent to somber the mood of this thread, I'll leave with this thought...

"It's one of life's truths that you cannot experience the awesome joy of what two people in love can share, without enduring some of the hardships two people together must share."

I still vote for the roller coaster ride. It's my favorite (right behind horny single ladies). :D

When men marry, they've found what they want or at least what they can settle for and they basically want things to stay the same.

Women see potential and take on a project.

I absolutely agree with you and am looking forward to it

Agree again !

You shouldn't marry someone you can live with. Rather, you should marry someone you can't live without.

ps - there's no need to get married to have all of the above. Just sayin'

You shouldn't marry someone you can live with. Rather, you should marry someone you can't live without.
I might have bought that one twenty years ago. Now, I'm convinced I'll live. I might not live as long, but I'll live.

Taking notes...

She just finished reading the lab reports from my physical. "I notice you didn't mention his note here about getting more aerobic exercise."

Wouldn't that sound more profound if it read

"Rather than marrying someone you don't think you can live without, you should marry someone you can live with."?
Um.......HUH?! Didn't you just turn that around on me ?!
