Taken out by a squid wearing a hoodie, no less.

Notice the guy in front, how he tucks his knee in JUST in time to avoid having his leg torn clean-off. Nice reflexes buddy :clapping:

That (plus almost being taken out by a forest rat while cranked over in a turn a couple weekends back) is why I've decided my gixxer is to be track-only*

Don't let this happen to you. WAFI is right

* plus it's $1500/yr to put a plate on it here in QC

I've always wondered why the folks that post those think we need to see the same thing three or four or five times consecutively.

I think hoodie boy lost it on the painted center line.

Probably failed physics class where they talked about coefficient of friction and menial stuff like that.

Remember this exact thing happened to our buddy MCML. He can tell you first hand exactly how much it sucks to be in that position.

Yeah...I was there. It was NOT at speed...in fact, passing an accident scene with Park Rangers in attendance. Another rider failed to see what was happening in front of him and swerved to avoid rear-ending a car.....except Joe was in that space!

Maybe the offending rider was amazed, awe-struck at and admiring the line of FJRs going the opposite direction he was traveling?

We have a couple of roads in our locale where the same incidents take place. HWY 4, in particular. Others (cars and bikes) are always crossing to the wrong side of the road.

Definitely a place to ride in full awareness and use late entry/line of sight techniques.

Would it have been inappropriate for the rider with the camera to get up, go to the rider who caused the accident, and beat that rider's ***? Just askin'.

That would be about whoop *** time..

I had Ducati cross me some time back - a truly helpless feeling of knowing there is only one eventuality, and it involves pain.
