This throttlelock releases with a touch of the handbrake lever....I had one on my last bike....It works great, you can release 2 ways....thumb botton ( won't light up your brake light )....or touch your brake lever ( which will flash your brake light momentarily )

About $200....and they are a beautifully mech. tool.......

Yes indeed,

Several of us are using this device. Works as advertised but

It's an "acquired cost"

I have one on my '07 and a Throttle Meister on my '04.

Likely, both will be for sale between now and Christmas.

I have an electronic cruise control on the way.

They also have wine that comes in plastic bags, dropped in a cardboard box...... :yahoo:

Now you're talking an"acquired taste".

That's my problem....My acquired taste far out reaches my required income.......

KISS!
I have a vista cruise mainly because it is simple and works fine for me. I don't use a "cruise control" much anyway even when I have had them on other bikes. The breakaway doesn't recommend using their product with heated grips (like the symtec I have) so that stopped me from looking at it when I was deciding.

I like the Brakeaway. The brake lever mechanism to unlock it gives me an extra bit of comfort when my throttle is locked. However, I find that anytime I'm on a highway around here we are all going 15 mph over the speed limit with only a few car lengths between vehicles. Not exactly throttle lock or cruise control friendly environments!

But there is more than one way to skin a cat, and if other devices work for other riders, great!
