does anyone else have a hard time making the TM hold in cold weather???

Occasionally, I have the opposite problem - won't hold in hot weather. But it's adjustable - you just need to loosen the screw on the end, and tap it sligfhtly deeper into the handlebar.

Have you replaced the stock handlebar insert?

stock insert has been replaced..I'll try tappin it in a little deeper

I'm having the same issue. It holds like a rock in warm weather. In the Cold, it tends to slip (and usually at the worst possible time.)

I also replaces the stock insert.
