This posting takes my ego, tosses it up in the air, lets it crash to the ground and then stomps on it.

Why? Because, there is a person that works on the same floor I do. With a Harley. No pipes. Extended front end. I've never seen him with a helmet. Or on an iffy weather day. He changes from work clothes to a tank top before leaving work. As he leaves, he makes a point of seeing how many car alarms he can set off as he rumbles to the entrance.

I would love to forward this link to him.

And I'm too much of a p***y to do so.

Found this on another website.

Another reply to the post. I really do love the post, and I would love to share it with someone. So, I just grabbed that link and sent it to him. It didn't take him long to reply: he can't watch it.

He is an old friend I met 'way back when in New Zealand, and he is currently residing in Shanghai. And, in China, YouTube is simply not available. At least, not to him.

As my first totally non-bike question: Does anyone know of a way to convert this youtube video to another format that would be small enough to fit in an email? Or, is this video somewhere else on the web, in a non-youtube format?

Birksdale, I think you have to have a software tool that captures the video stream and saves it out as a file. ANY video file will be huge compared to a letter, e-mail, or sound file. I doubt it can be sent by e-mail since it would be pretty big. You'd need to upload it to some place like Photobucket and send the link.

Alternately, your friend behind the bamboo curtain would need to use one of the many proxy anonymizing services out there to sneak around the national firewall.
